As a horticulturist and designer at High Glen Gardens in Frederick, Maryland, one of my responsibilities was designing and installing seasonal container gardens around the estate. Certain containers had specific color scheme requirements, while others simply harmonized with the gardens nearby.
In the fall, I created seasonal displays that included chrysanthemums, ornamental cabbage and kale, pansies, and even accessories such as pumpkins, hay bales, and a pair of witch’s legs!
